Regeneration projects in Trafford
The former Greater Manchester Police headquarters site in Stretford, now cleared, is proposed for around 1,250 homes as the Civic Quarter, under a joint venture between the council, GMCA and Far East Consortium. Trafford Waters, the Peel Waters masterplan at Trafford Park, is published as around 3,000 homes, and Davenport Green near Manchester Airport is a strategic allocation of around 2,500 homes. Both are named site allocations in the emerging Local Plan.
