Regeneration projects in Rotherham
Rotherham's biggest regeneration ambition is Bassingthorpe Farm, a roughly 2,000-home garden community north of the town centre with a cabinet-approved planning framework, though the council is still seeking a development partner. Nearer the centre, the Rotherham Gateway masterplan pairs a proposed mainline station with new homes. Smaller schemes are already under way: 120 affordable homes at Midland Road, Eastwood, and 50 homes in the new Waverley neighbourhood at Olive Lane.
